Kragujevac switches coaches again
Goran Košutić
Marko Obradović, former player and now former coach of the Kragujevac Wild Boars resigned after only one game, a 30-5 home loss to Novi Sad and will be replaced by Vujica Samailović. Samailović preceded Obradović at the position, but left the team after winning SELAF last year citing personal commitments.
Now, Obradović has done the same.
“I have too many things in my personal life and can’t fully dedicate myself to the club. I will help the club as much as I am capable, not with coaching, but more in terms of marketing.”
The team said on its website that Obradović's decision was unexpected, so it's not a surprise they turned to their former coach. Although Samailović had the same reasons for leaving last year, he has now agreed to return.
He takes over after the worst loss in team history and before a tough away game in Ljubljana. The Silverhawks also lost their first game, so both teams will be looking for a win to avoid being two games down at the start of the season. Kragujevac won last year in Ljubljana 19-6.
