SELAFThe first SELAF (Southeastern European League of American Football) competition is before us. The league start is set for the first weekend of May with two games, the first of which will be played on May 6 and marks the season start. In Belgrade, the Wolves await the only team from outside Serbia and Montenegro – the Ljubljana Silverhawks
The game will be played at FK Obilić stadium beginning at 4 p.m., and besides being a season opener it also represents the first ever competitive game played with full equipment in Serbia and Montenegro, and the first such game for the Wolves. Unlike the Wolves, the visiting Silverhawks arrive with the experience of playing in Alpe Adria League.
The next day in Novi Sad, a regional derbi between the Dukes and the visitors from Sremska Mitrovica, the Legionaries, will be played. Beginning at 4 p.m. at FK Kabel Stadium, the Novi Sad team will try to once again defeat the Sremska Mitrovica team, after they beat them for the first time in last year`s friendly.
