Two for two for the Wolves
Marton David Ivanyi
The Győr Sharks could only keep up with the Wolves for one quarter in the second round of the Hungarian American Football League.
Győr started the scoring with a nice passing play, but the Wolves responded with 33 unanswered points. Krisztián Piros caught a pass for a touchdown from
junior quarterback Mark Bencsics, who ran for 18 yards setting up Laszlo Csizmazia for the next score.
Although the young QB had two interceptions, he was the game MVP after running in for a score, passing for his second, to Csanád Király, in the third quarter and amassing over a 100 yards rushing.
A 68 yard punt return by Piros made it 33:6, pushing his touchdown total to five in two games.
