The same way the Gladiators lost their first game of the season, so did the Dukes. One of the more interesting games of the fall season, the one between the Gladiators and the Dukes, will not be played out this week, as the Dukes faced difficulties during procedure for Austrian visas.
The game will be registered with an official score of 35-0, likely for the Gladiators, pending an official decision by the Commissioner Igor Gajić.
The game neared cancellation at the beginning of the week, and an alternative option of moving the game to Zagreb existed, but a game there couldn’t be arranged in the end.
Despite the Serbian teams traditionally having to go through a visa application procedure, from the first year to this one, a game has never been canceled for this reason to date. The first year, the Serbian teams traveled only to Slovenia; that was extended to Austria and Hungary last year and Slovakia this year.
