Silverhawks add one, but huge, piece

The Ljubljana Silverhawks' intentions of advancing to the playoffs became clear with the addition of an import running back to their team. Joseph Bo Moncur, this spring of the St. Polten Invaders from Austrian Division I joined the team to help them reach the goal that has eluded them since they started playing in the league.
Moncur had a great season in Austria, and that along with others things convinced the Silverhawks to acquire him. They were also looking at signing a quarterback, bringing in Stan Bedwell, who has been playing in the region for a Serbian team in the last two years, since that has been their biggest need for years, but in the end decided on Moncur.
The Silverhawks fate will be decided in the next three weeks, as they play a game in each, two against the Gladiators and one against the Dukes. Moncur's former team competed against the Gladiators in the Austrian league already, losing in the regular season, but beating them convincingly in the playoff semifinal.
