For the forthcoming CEFL Bowl, the team organizing the event, The Vukovi Belgrade, held a press conference in the City Assembly of Belgrade, or the Old Palace. Club president Goran Nišavić and starting defensive end Bogdan Đurđević were joined by Secretary of Sport in Belgrade Goran Kreclović and Goran Topalović from Lasta, one of league sponsors.

Nišavić said that the Vukovi are determined more than ever to organize a game worthy of the title match. He announced that Serbian singer Madam Piano will perform the Serbian national anthem and that Deca loših muzičara, or Bad Musicians' Children will perform at halftime. Contrary to what can be judged by the name, the group has been one of the more popular rock bands in Serbia for the past decade.

It was also confirmed that the game will once again be broadcast live on TV Avala.

“This story begins on the first day of my mandate. Goran convinced me that without the Vukovi there is no good story of sports in Belgrade. Yes, the city has an interest to work on promoting the Vukovi Belgrade as well as the sport and to make possible the conditions for future progress”, said Kreclović. The city of Belgrade has been of great help for the Vukovi in organizing the final.

Along with promoting the game, Nišavić also explained the name change to CEFL for next year, and all but confirmed the entry of Zagreb Thunder in 2008 and the interest of some other Hungarian and Austrian teams.

“Crown of the season; even during training camp we had wished and planned the final. The opponent is hard, the team is prepared, but we played them once already and we beat them”, said Đurđević who will be on the field Saturday.

CEFL Bowl will be played on Saturday, October 27th starting in 1PM.

After the game along with the trophy for the league champions, the trophies for best individual players of the regular season will be handed out to Peter Cseperkalo and Marko Košutić. CEFL Bowl MVP will also be determined and presented with an award.
