Must win for both

Wolves down? The Budapest Wolves, who have started their international season with a defeat in Austria two weeks ago, hosts the Ljubljana Silverhawks at BVSC Stadium in Budapest this Saturday from 16:00. The two teams have already met in 2007, resulting in two Wolves victories, 37:16 and 50:0 respectively.
Of course the Wolves want to live down the defeat they have suffered in Loipersdorf, where their offense was non existent against a very sharp Gladiators team. It is not the best of signs for the Hungarians that last weekend after a 27:0 first half they only managed a 7:6 second half against the not too though Szolnok Soldiers team.
The team from Ljubljana has already played four CEFL games this season. They managed an easy victory against the Zagreb Thunder (26:7), two surprisingly close defeats (both 6:13) at the hands of the Novi Sad Dukes and the CNC Gladiators, and were dominated in Belgrade last weekend by the Vukovi (38:6). If the Slovenians don’t want to dig themselves a hole that will be mighty hard to get out of this season, they will have to win this game, and the time seems to be right to beat the Wolves.
We can expect to see two motivated teams on the field Saturday, it is hard to say which team is in better form, there is no real favorite for this one.
