Kragujevac wins, Ristić scores three times
As expected, the Kragujevac Wild Boars beat the Legionaries in Mitrovica 33-0 for their third win of the season. Even if they were with a complete roster, the Legionaries wouldn`t have much to hope for, and especially not when they were missing several players because of injury.
The Boars cornerback, Vitomir Rašić, scored a touchdown that gave his team the lead, returning a punt 40 yards after the Legionaries` first failed drive. Starting the second quarter, Kragujevac increased their lead on a 3 yard run by Ristić, but as with their first touchdown the extra point attempt was no good.
It was the beginning of the Legionaries` troubles, who`s defense couldn`t match up with the visiting team. In the middle of the quarter Ristić scored again on a 35 yard run to put the lead at 19-0, and scoring once more before the end, this time from 4 yards out.
With the lead now 26 points, safety Aca Petrović, who returned to the team for the first time after getting injured before the season started, intercepted a pass in the Wild Boars end zone and took it all the way for the final score 33-0.
