Belgrade SBB Vukovi had little more than a sparring session this weekend hosting Indjija Indians. Their quarterback John Uribe opened his class with a couple of 20 yard touchdown passes to Anthony Washington. Another one of his passes found Mario Lugonja in the Indians’ end zone. Before the end of the first half Uribe’s scoring string ended with a 6 yard touchdown rush for the unanswered 28 points by SBB Vukovi.
In the second half the home team took advantage of the lead to field their young players. Indians were on par in this period and both offenses went scoreless. However, one of their blocked punts was returned to their own end zone by SBB Vukovi’s Ivan Nedeljkovic, raising the final score to 35-0.
SBB Vukovi have ended their regular season games unbeaten with 4 wins under their belt. Wild Card game is what lies ahead of them in two weeks. The winless Indjija Indians still have one more regular season game to play against the equally depraved Nis Imperatori.
