Belgrade`s best, and one of the league`s best players quarterback Andrej Tasić, will miss the last game od the year – the league final. He was injured in the last game of the regular season against the Kragujevac Wild Boars when he was hit by Marko Obradović hurting his knee, after completing a 9 yard pass to Nikola Ristić on the game`s first drive.
He was substituted immediately by Nemanja Petković after which he limped to the locker room. Tasić is expected to wear a protective cast for two weeks, but is definitely out for the final.
The Vukovi lost the game 14-0, as they were stopped offensively for the first time this season. The two teams will meet again on October 8th in a match that will decide the league champion.
Tasić also missed his team`s match against Mitrovica three weeks ago because of a right shoulder injury. Despite missing two games he is second in SELAF in passing yard, and the league`s leader in rushing yards. He passed for eight, and ran for six touchdowns in six starts prior to the last match against Kragujevac.
