The Vukovi Belgrade added two, from their perspective, important pieces for their plans of raising the level of the team’s organization, to be not only one of the best in SELAF, but also in Europe. They have added two new members to their Governing Board, Serbian actor Nikola Đuričko and businessman Rade Rakočević.
“One of the main long term goals of the Vukovi is the European title, so besides a good player base it’s necessary to create a team of people capable of achieving that. It’s precisely for this reason that we have introduced two new Board members, that are established in their field of work, so each will contribute in their segment”, said Goran Nišavić, the Vukovi’s president.
The Vukovi have been very active in recent months in establishing their presence in Serbian sports, especially in organizing their summer retraining camp for new players, which is in its second year.
Đuričko is one of the best known actors in Serbia, and also a long time fan of the Vukovi. In his acting career he has appeared in over 30 movies and received numerous awards, in Serbia and internationally. For the past year, he has been a host for the TV show Karaoke Showdown, in which he will appear this week dressed in the Vukovi gear. Other than that, football fans in Serbia remember him for his interpretation of the Serbian anthem before SELAF final last year.
Rakočević is a succesful broker in Serbia, founder of brokerage firm Senzal. From this year, after opening offices in Bosnia, Montenegro and Macedonia, Senzal has become the first regional brokerage firm founded in Serbia.
