BUDAPEST – The Wolves and the ex-CEFL member Monarchs played a real derby in the Budapest afternoon sunshine this Saturday, while preparing for their CEFL season kickoff, that will for the Wolves happen on the 16th of April. The Wolves went ahead on two touchdowns in the first quarter, the Bratislava squad pulled it within one score in the second and it stayed like that for most of the game. The home team finally found its offense in the last period scoring two TD’s in the fourth that the tough Slovaks did not have an answer for. The contest was a true defensive battle, for most of the game the D’s dominated the offenses. A quick start and maybe some better stamina was worth a win for the Hungarian Champions.
