Why did you choose SBB Vukovi?
Shaun Rutherford: I was actually suppose to sign with the Flash in the 1st division in France, but I received a call from a former teammate and good friend Dextrell (Simmons). He told me about SBB Vukovi and that they needed a quarterback. I just felt like it would be fun to get to play on the same field with him again. So I took advantage of the opportunity.
Can you make a comparison between the quality of football in Germany and Serbia?
Shaun Rutherford: Football in Germany moved a little faster and had just a little more competition and as we all know football is a little more known in Germany.
What are your impressions of the season so far?
Shaun Rutherford: Our play so far has been so-so. I feel that we are a lot better than what we have been playing. I’m upset that we lost against the Silverhawks. That was a game we let get away from us that we shouldn’t have.
What are your predictions for the rest of the season?
Shaun Rutherford: Leading into week 5 I like the progress we’ve made since the loss in week 4. I have it set in my mind to win from here on out and bring another championship back to Belgrade for SBB Vukovi.
