This weekend Eastern Conference continues in Nis where first international football game will be played when Budapest Cowbells pay a visit to team Imperatori. Central Conference will take place in Kranj and Zagreb where Sarajevo Spartans and Domzale Tigers will play, respectively.
Last week Nis Imperatori suffered the toughest loss by any team in the league so far. Belgrade SBB Vukovi were much too strong, scoring 77 points. This way they repeated the highest score in the league after they scored as many points against Zagreb Patriots in 2008. The Patriots managed to escape a shutout by scoring a field goal that ime, which was more than Imperatori could do last week.
Budapest Cowbells were disappointed as well after playing a horrible second half against GAT Dukes in their last SK CEFL appearance. They managed to outscore the opponents by 10 points in the first half and then tanked after the break. GAT Dukes offensive and defensive units scored twice each on them and left them where they left off before the intermission.
Meanwhile, Central Conference waters have cleared a bit with Zagreb Patriots separating themselves on the top of the standings with 3 wins, followed by Kranj Alp Devils with 2, Sarajevo Spartans with 1 and the hapless Domzale Tigers.
Patriots will try to assert their dominance this week hosting the Tigers, while Alp Devils try to stay at the shotgun seat and raise their advantage against the Spartans to two wins.
