Second game of the quarterfinal weekend was played in La Courneuve, where the Flash welcomed new Spanish champion, LG OLED Las Rozas Black Demons. It was a hard-fought duel where both teams had their chances. In the end, the home team scraped by, winning each half by a small margin.
On the very first offensive series the Flash were perfect, scoring an early lead when Léo Cremades located François Bremond in the end zone for 11 yards, 7-0.

Their following drive ended in a turnover though, after a muffed direct snap was recovered by the visitors’ Andrei Luca.
Spanish team’s offense still couldn’t find their groove but their defense fared better limiting another promising Flash foray to a 29 yard field goal by Jordy Adjetey-Adjevi for 10-0.
Energized to catch up, the Black Demons shoot from the hip. Theo Landers launched a 41 yard rocket to Jorge García Vargas who weaved into the end zone for 10-7.

Their next drive is less effective as the Mendhy Doukanse forced a fumble on running back Daniel Dévora and Parisians’ Junior Smith recovered the ball.
The home team extended their lead in the last seconds before the whistle with a 19 yard field goal by Adjetey-Adjevi to end the half 13-7.
Most of the third period was unproductive for both offenses. As it expired, the Black Demons mounted their longest drive of the game which ended by Landers rushing for a touchdown for his team’s only lead of the game, 13-14.

Then the French team took the initiative with Baptiste Aubert doing most of the work and finally crossing the goal line for 19-14.
Playing from behind, Landers went through the air when Adjetey-Adjevi sprang up and picked him off.
Taking the ball over near midfield Aubert milked the clock until Cremades zipped to Benedict Von Jagow who slanted into the end zone to put the ending mark at 25-14.
