Curtain falls in Novi Sad

Wild Boars` triumphant trip to Belgrade last week resolved the Gordian knot of SELAF finals placing, so this week`s game in Novi Sad will have no competitive significance after all. The Dukes will attempt to finish the season with a positive record, while the Ljubljana Silverhawks are looking to book their second ever win on Serbian soil.

If Dukes win, they will finish the season with a score of 5-3, something not a lot of people outside Novi Sad expected. It`s also worth mentioning Dukes stayed in the finals hunt all season long, giving headaches to hot favourites such as Beograd and Kragujevac throughout.

TE Rastko Jokić expects a good game from his team, regardless of the fact virtually nothing is at stake. “We`re looking for a win here, so we can end the season on a high note in front of our fans. We also can`t take Ljubljana lightly, for we lost there earlier this year”, said Jokić.

The game will be played on Saturday, 23rd of September, at FK Kabel stadium in Novi Sad.
