This season will kick off on 18th April when last year’s finalists meet after 9 months and we’ll see who will be borne out in this one. SBB Vukovi are hosting the Silverhawks who will try to get their revenge in Belgrade. Two oldest opponents will double down for the first time because the game is also played for the IFAF Europe Champions League.
The schedule continues the following weekend with the other two teams meeting in Novi Sad in their first ever clash. The 2009 season is the only one so far in which GAT Dukes and Cineplexx Blue Devils have both played in SportKlub CEFL, but never crossed paths. After that, the League goes on a month long hiatus, to continue where it left off when GAT Dukes host their national league rival down the river Danube.
Things will heat up after that, to be resolved on 6th June with a western double feature weekend, with the Silverhawks hosting GAT Dukes and the Blue Devils greeting SBB Vukovi. After the semifinals, which will be mandatory for all teams this season, the League will celebrate a jubilee on 18th July when two best teams meet in CEFL Bowl X. The fans will again be able to see the most interesting matchups on the regional broadcasting sports network SportKlub.
