Cowboys add another import

After two straight losses, one would think the Cowboys decided to make a change, but although they added a new import quarterback, Travis Brody, not much will change for that team.

Despite poor performances both by the team and their quarterback Jack Lydic in the last two games, the Cowboys’ Head Coach Wally English said that Lydic remains the team’s number one quarterback. Their decision was forced by Lydic’s temporary return to the US because of personal reasons, and they plan on having Brody only for the Dukes game, two weeks from now.

The new player, Travis Brody, comes to the Cowboys from California, and after spending this and last year in the Belgian league, with the Brussels Bulls. The 25-year old also has experience as a receiver and a defensive player, safety and cornerback.

After lighting up the Silverhawks in their first game of the season, their quarterback’s, John Lydic’s game, and the Cowboys’ in general went south, resulting in two ugly losses, in two away games to Serbia and Austria. In the first game, Lydic passed for over 300 yards, 4 touchdowns and 1 interception, however in the next two he had, combined, under 200 yards passing, 2 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
