On an invitation by the magazine “Svet”, the Novi Sad Dukes visited the Children`s Village in Sremska Kamenica (Serbia). After several prior visits by other public figures, it was Dukes` turn. They brought american football gear and introduced the children with the sport.
“The players spent the day playing with the children. In the summer we plan to visit them again, and also bring some gifts. They all had a good time”, said Zorica Simić, vice president of the team from Novi Sad.
Unlike some other team activities in the past, like players participating in Miss Vojvodina pageant, this one wasn`t meant as team promotion.
“It was a new experience for us, and in the future we plan to continue with this type of activities”, added Simić.
